In Loving Memory of Juan Jose "Cuquito" Santiago-Guevarez

On October 7th, 2024, just one week before his 64th birthday, our beloved father, Juan Jose "Cuquito" Santiago-Guevarez, passed away unexpectedly. Our family is overwhelmed and heartbroken by this sudden loss, and as we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we are reaching out for support during this time of unimaginable grief.

Juan took immense pride in being the provider for his family above all else. He was a man who valued hard work and passed down that work ethic to his children, teaching them not only how to work, but also how to hunt and fish—two of his favorite pastimes. He loved being outdoors and had a deep connection with nature, especially animals. Deers and Rosters in particular, held a special place in his heart. He was a man who appreciated life's simple joys.

Though he was strict and firm in his ways, his love for his family was always unconditional. His children knew that no matter how tough he could be, his heart was always full of love and concern for their well-being. He was their protector, their teacher, and their biggest supporter.

Despite the many roadblocks he faced in life, health challenges, financial struggles, and personal battles, Juan never stopped striving for better. Sadly, he left us before he could fully accomplish his goals, and now we are left to carry on his legacy.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are faced with the unexpected costs of his funeral and burial. We’ve started this GoFundMe with the goal of raising $13,000 to cover the expenses for his casket, funeral home services, and burial. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to help us put our father to rest in the way he truly deserves.

We have a short time frame to meet this goal, with the deadline is October 18th 2024 as we finalize all arrangements. Your support is needed urgently to ensure we can give him the service and resting place he deserves. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us reach our goal in time.
