Support Juan-Daniel's Journey With ALS
Donation protected
Juan-Daniel is someone who lives a life of service and love for other people. Those of us fortunate enough to know him celebrate his profound love of Christ, his deep passion for the underserved, his energy and enthusiasm for life, his ability to foster strong communities, and his natural ability to love and care for those around him.
Juan-Daniel has a been a pastor at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church since 2007, working with Hispanic ministries, outreach and care. Before that, Juan-Daniel spent many years as a missionary traveling around the world, working with Hispanic church development, as well as being a medical social worker and therapist. He is married to Leticia, and together they have three children, Astrid, Cemelli and Danny.
Recently Juan-Daniel received a very difficult diagnosis of ALS, (Lou Gehrig's disease). Even amidst this illness, he is still dreaming of how he can serve and support Latino missionaries around the world. The challenges the Espitia family are now facing are many and multifaceted. The financial burden from months of testing is already significantly impacting the family, and there will be many expenses to come, such as medications, therapy, specialized equipment and devices and home modification.
If you feel called and are able to, please join us in supporting Juan-Daniel, and help ease some of the burden through the difficult journey he is on. Let’s come together and give back to a man who has lived his life in service of others.
Thank you,
Team JD (on behalf of Juan-Daniel and Leticia)
