Please help Judy & her baby after LA fires burn down home
Hello friends, family, and community,
My name is Judy and I've lost my home to the Eaton fire. It's hard for me to ask for donations because as a first generation southeast asian, asking for donations is heavily frowned upon. But now that I've lost my home to the devastating fire and became a first time mom to a beautiful 8 month old boy, I'm building the courage to reach out to ask for your help to help my husband, baby, and I.
We hope to gather enough donations to rebuild our home lost to the fire. Altadena is where we call home for 10 years and would love to stay in this beautiful community again.
Any donation made to us will help us start from scratch and help with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid or FEMA such as a temporary home to basic necessities such as clothes, food, baby formulas and diapers.
Honestly, I can live without new clothes or food to eat but my baby is my number one priority and I wish to give him a safe place to live and basic necessities to thrive after the devastating fire took everything from us.
The road is long and hard but with some financial burden off with these donations, we can hopefully take a few steps forward towards recovery.
There are many things I wish to say but I'm not very good at expressing myself or writing words so I apologize for that.
Thank you for your support and generosity in advance. Any amount is appreciated. Bless your beautiful hearts for helping to save us. ❤️
Even if you don't donate to my little family, I would like to thank you for reading my story and I hope you bless someone else in my LA community. They are suffering and lost their homes to the fires too. Thank you.
UPDATE:
I just want to thank everyone for donating to my little family during this hard time. We greatly appreciate each and every one of you for caring about us.
I just wanted to give a little bit of update of our life right now. Right now we are currently staying with my sister for a couple of more weeks until we find a place to rent. My husband is still trying to figure out what to do with our property since our home burned down. With all the donations so far, we were able to get some necessities to help us move forward. Majority of the donations is for my baby. My baby is healthy, thriving, and gaining weight. He still has his baby rolls. I just want to say again, THANK YOU. With all your help and donations, it help lessen the financial burdens my family had face after losing our home to the wildfire.
