Support Julie Blythe’s battle against Cancer
Donation protected
This past August, my dear, sweet mother Julie Blythe, was diagnosed with cancer for a second time. The news was extremely out of the blue and was a huge shock, not only to Julie but to her family as well. Julie's diagnosis is Triple-negative Breast Cancer with Malignant Pleural Effusion. Stage 4 cancer.
Julie Blythe is an encaustic artist, wife, community member, and mother from Dallas, Texas. I'm her son, Alex Blythe, and I'm reaching out today on Julie's behalf with a heavy heart but also hope. After fighting cancer once before and coming out the other side, Julie recently been diagnosed with cancer for a second time. It's difficult to describe the whirlwind of emotions she's feeling, but she is determined to face this with the same strength and courage that helped her the first time.
When Julie was first diagnosed, the love and support of her community made all the difference. Now, as she navigate this next chapter of treatment and recovery, I'm asking for your help.
Julie's Journey So Far
Years ago, Julie underwent a series of treatments and surgeries to fight cancer. The process was physically and emotionally draining, but with the help of an amazing support network, she was able to return to her life as an artist.
Now facing this battle again, Julie is trying to handle mounting medical bills, compounding treatment costs, and the uncertainty of care. As much as she wishes to focus solely on healing the financial burden is overwhelming for her and her family.
So I am here humbly asking for help for my mom. My heart is full of gratitude and hope thanks to you. And Julie is so very thankful to her family, community, and friends.
How You Can Help
I'm reaching out to ask for support to help with the costs of cancer treatment, care, and recovery. This will include:
- Chemotherapy and/or radiation
- Specialized medications and care
- Travel and transport for medical appointments
- Time away from work as I focus on my health
- Out-of-pocket costs that insurance won't cover
- Surgery
- Meals
Your generosity will help relieve some of this financial stress for Julie and her family. This will help her focus on treatment and relieve the mounting financial burden.
Whether you can donate, share this campaign, send Julie a message or send good thoughts or prayers her way, I truly appreciate your kindness.
Thank you,
Alex Blythe, Julie's son
