Julie Holland Needs Our Support

I am raising funds for our sweet friend Julie Holland. She has suffered a health crisis that temporarily demolished her ability to work. Somehow Julie weathered the passing of a meteor sized kidney stone at home alone (holy moly!) but became gravely ill afterwards. The stone perforated her intestine and she found herself in the hospital undergoing two emergency surgeries. 12 long days later she returned home but is facing a third life saving operation on September 19th. Doctors are going to remove and reconstruct a portion of her bowel. Julie needs support from us to see her through to a place of healing and recovery. She is the kind of sweetheart that would give you the shirt off her back or run and buy you baby formula in the middle of the night (like she did for me when I was a struggling single mom). It is time to reflect some of that loving kindness right back at her. The goal is to raise enough money to pay her short-term bills and get her back on her feet. Julie needs help with rent, co-pays and living expenses to make it. If she ever gave you a laugh or some levity, now is the time to lift her up in return. Always the comedian, let's pay her back some of those smiles by showing up now. This is her hour of need.
