Hello. My name is Dianne Suminski Pantuliano. I am setting up this GoFundMe for my dear friend of 33 years, Jennifer O'Brien, and her brother Bill. Jennifer & I met in nursing school and worked together for 16 years. We remain close friends to this day. I am heartbroken to tell you that Jennifer & Bill's mother, Julie O'Brien, was hit by a car and severely injured on December 6, 2024, as she was about to cross the street to continue her errands for the day. She remains unconscious and her condition is extremely fragile. We, of course, are praying for an absolute miracle. Julie worked for 30+ years at Washington Savings (previously Kazimierz Wielki), currently William Penn, @Edgemont & Allegheny. If you didn't know her from the bank, you definitely saw her 'on the go' around Port Richmond. Always moving, shopping, and chatting with people along the way. She is friendly & funny and she would help anyone, not only at the bank, but in her daily life as well. Her children & her grandchildren are the pride & joy of her existence and she loves everything Disney. In addition, Jennifer & Bill's father, William Sr., was in hospice for several months. Julie, his wife of 53 years, was his primary caregiver. William Sr. passed away on December 18, 2024. He was a retired Philadelphia firefighter and a proud Marine who fought in Vietnam.
Julie did not deserve what happened to her. William Sr. did not deserve to lose his wife and caretaker. Her children did not deserve to have their lives flipped upside down in the blink of an eye. This is a good, honest family having the unimaginable happen.
I am asking that you help ease part of their burden right now. The money raised here will go to any expenses that will incur for her care/recovery. Jennifer & Bill are trustworthy, good-hearted people, just like their parents. Julie is also Catholic, so prayers are definitely needed & welcomed. Thank you.
