Support Julie's Courageous Fight Against Cancer

Meet Julie, single mom of 2 beautiful children Riley & Sean. Also, a dear friend to many, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin and a niece. Julie has been a 5th grade teacher for over 20 years for the community of District 146. Back in May of 2022, Julie was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. She started her battle and had overcome the odds and was cancer free for 2 years. Sadly the cancer has returned. Julie is ready to fight this for the second time and kick cancers ASS!

Prior to being diagnosed the first time Julie was ready to get back to living life out on her own with her children. Unfortunately that put a halt on things. Once again she was ready to go and this second cancer diagnosis and rounds for treatment may prevent her from doing so. We would love to help Julie and her family by not having to stress over finances while she is undergoing treatment! Please consider donating to our dear friend and her family.

We all have had the privilege of working alongside Julie for many years. Julie is a pillar of the education system for District 146. I personally have had the privilege of Julie being my son's 5th grade teacher back in 2011. The best part is I now have been able to work alongside Julie for the last 9 years. She is the true meaning of BEST TEACHER EVER!
