Support Julie's Home Heating Emergency

My name is Julie, I recently purchased my first home 2 1/2 years ago, and I live with my 22-year-old daughter "B" full time for the first time in her life. I work full time and take classes part time, I will graduate with my BS IT in January. My daughter is a full-time chemistry student. This house was a fixer upper, but in sound condition. I just found out the drain was plugged in my furnace and it's been rusting out. Did not see this coming!! The motor and board are rusted and dead. It's winter, it's 22 degrees at night. Space heaters only work for small areas and are going to drive my electric bill up. I'm already so tight I squeak when I walk. (gotta keep the humor). We will not be able to survive in this house without a furnace in Colorado. I've gotten several quotes, and I'm already closer to my goal thanks to some generous friends. I still need $2200 to replace the parts and labor OR $6,000 to completely replace the high efficiency heater.

My picture is of Cheesecake one of my two adopted FeLV+ cats the other is Bennie. I love this picture, he seems to be smelling the sunshine and warmth. Makes me happy that the two babies are safe, but sad that they are confined to two rooms as the rest of the house is getting brutally cold.

Help me get heat by Christmas please. It's the season of giving, and if I had to money to give, I wouldn't be asking. This one time, I'm asking for help. Every penny helps and prayers help.
