On Monday April 3rd at 5am I received the worst phone call I could ever imagine. My daddy was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital after falling unconscious in his living room while getting ready for work. After becoming unresponsive at Our Lady of Lourdes they transported him by helicopter to The University Of Pennsylvania where his vitals were slim to none. The surgeon then did a 10 hour procedure to repair what we came to find out was an aneurysm that burst in his heart. He is still currently in critical condition in the ICU and we are unsure of his overall recovery.
My daddy the heart and soul of our family the man that has always provided, not only for myself but my whole family his entire life is no longer able to work. When and if he gets out of the hospital he has a very long road to rehabilitation. My dad is an old fashioned man and always wanted my mom to stay home to be the care giver for our family, so currently my mom is struggling with the financial burden that are piling up while caring for him in the hospital by his bedside. In addition to the financial hardship the dr. Said if and when he is ready to go home, his home will need to be altered to fit his medical needs which is extremely overwhelming my family and I.
Dear friends and family and all who have been touched by my father Julio LaBoy in someway, we are asking for you to come together to help us during this challenging time. All proceeds will go directly towards extensive medical bills and the financial burden, to help ease the worry at this difficult time. Thank you in advance for all your support and kind gestures.
