Our family is facing an unexpected crisis, and we're reaching out for help. Our sweet four-year-old Goldendoodle, Juniper, recently underwent emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. We caught it just in time but her recovery has been a rocky road.

After her first night home, she started refusing food, struggling with nausea, and was in a lot of pain. A follow-up vet visit confirmed that she’s facing complications from surgery—her digestive system isn’t working properly yet, and she needs more hospital care, IV fluids, and close monitoring to get back on her feet.

Juniper means everything to our family, especially our kids, who miss her morning snuggles and bedtime cuddles. We’re doing everything we can to give her the life-saving veterinary care she needs.

A Tough Recovery & Mounting Vet Bills

We were so relieved when Juniper came home from surgery, but her recovery took a turn for the worse. Within hours, she became lethargic, refused to eat, and started vomiting. We rushed her back to the vet, where X-rays showed stomach inflammation and fluid buildup—a dangerous condition called ileus, where the digestive system shuts down after surgery.

Now, she’s been readmitted to the veterinary hospital, receiving IV fluids, pain management, and round-the-clock care. Each extra night in the hospital adds to the already overwhelming veterinary medical expenses.
