Support Justice and Free Speech: Help Me Appeal an Unjust Dismissal

I am a British Palestinian teacher who has dedicated my life to educating and empowering young minds. Recently, I was dismissed from my position following a campaign of malicious doxxing aimed at silencing my lawful expressions of grief, solidarity, and advocacy for justice in Gaza. These expressions, rooted in my personal experiences and protected under UK law, have been misinterpreted and weaponised to jeopardise my career and livelihood.

This dismissal has left me in a dire situation, facing emotional and financial hardship while grappling with the loss of family members in Gaza and the trauma of witnessing the ongoing genocide against my people. The decision to terminate my employment not only undermines my right to freedom of expression but also sets a dangerous precedent for those who wish to speak out against injustice.

I am determined to appeal this unfair decision and to fight for justice—not just for myself, but for everyone whose voices are stifled in the face of oppression. However, the legal fees, associated costs, and the sudden loss of income have made this fight incredibly challenging.

How Will Your Contributions Help?
I am asking for your support to fund my appeal. Your contributions will go directly toward:

- Legal representation to challenge this dismissal:
These funds will cover solicitor fees, tribunal costs, and any necessary legal support to build a strong case.

-Advocacy to protect freedom of expression and assembly under UK law:
This case is about more than one person—it’s about resisting systemic suppression and intimidation.

- Covering basic living expenses:
The sudden loss of income has left me struggling to meet essential needs while focusing on this fight for justice.

Why This Case Matters

This case is not just about me; it’s about defending the right to speak out against oppression without fear of retribution. It challenges the growing trend of silencing voices advocating for Palestinian rights and standing against injustice. A victory here would set a precedent that ensures lawful expressions of grief, solidarity, and advocacy are protected, empowering others to stand for truth and justice without intimidation.

Funding Goals

The initial target is £14,000, which will cover the first phase of legal fees, court costs, and essential expenses. However, if the case progresses to further stages, the total costs may rise to £40,000. Any additional funds raised will be used transparently to:

- Support further legal proceedings, including appeals.

- Amplify awareness campaigns to shed light on this and similar cases.

- Donate any remaining funds to a donor-specified cause or Pal Action’s legal efforts, ensuring every contribution supports the fight for justice.

A Call for Solidarity
I cannot fight this battle alone. Your support—whether through donations, sharing this campaign, or simply standing in solidarity—means everything. Together, we can resist oppression, protect freedom of speech, and ensure that no one is punished for standing up for truth and justice.

Thank you for standing with me in this critical fight. Your support is a beacon of hope in challenging times, and together, we can make a difference.
