Support Justice for family with disabled child

Donation protected

On November 12th, 2019, we had a stillborn girl who was revived and became disabled.

We built a house that provided opportunities for our girl to train and develop herself in terms of life.

Our child requires round-the-clock care 24 hours a day and full supervision. She is in a wheelchair, cannot eat or speak and she has a walker. She suffers a lot from severe epileptic seizures where she stops breathing and becomes cyanotic. Overall, she is very badly affected physically, but cognitively she understands everything, and she loves her parents. She is almost 5 years old.

There is an agency that carries out healthcare and nursing tasks around the clock, so we can sleep at night and take care of our work.

The mother works part-time, and otherwise goes home and trains with our child daily.

Last year the system failed us and would not help us. They hired a new agency and wouldn't help us with many of the caregiving tasks anymore. Likewise, the agency could not cover all shifts, so the mother had to take leave from work to handle these tasks. The system will not compensate us and pay the mother, so there has been no salary since December 2023. Now the system is proposing to remove even more of our help.

I have had to work full time and at the same time look after our daughter at night, when the agency has not helped us. The system doesn't care about this issue.

We have hired a lawyer and social worker to help us fight the system and justice for us and our daughter. Our daughter is innocent in life, and it is not her fault she died during childbirth and became disabled. She has the same right to life as the rest of us, and this is what we are fighting for.

But without salary compensation and with expensive bills for lawyers and social workers, we lose the battle when we still must pay to survive.

Help us in the fight for our daughter, keep living in our house together, and for equality in human rights for people with disabilities. All donations are welcome, large or small. Every single act of generosity counts.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
