Support Justice Prevailing For Kim Lavasseur

Hi my name is Heather Grande and I am fundraising on behalf of my sister Kim Lavasseur. She worked for the last 22 years as an exemplar employee for Ashland County Jail. She stepped into a leadership role and from there was wrongfully terminated which has resulted in her fighting for justice and equality for her, and everyone else that requires law-enforcement support and rehabilitation in Ashland County. There were many things said during sworn testimony that were not true and Kim’s attorney caught them lying numerous times while they were under oath. Due to mismanagement of the trial the County is now changing the County Handbook to update the current state statutes and guidelines however, Kim is left fighting. This is where you come in. Kim’s case is now being brought to a federal level and with that comes the cost of legal fees. She cannot fight this battle alone.
