Help Justice During Her Recovery From a Life-Saving Kidney Transplant
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for help. Our daughter Justice, a 23-year-old young lady, has been battling kidney failure for the past five years. After years of waiting and hoping, she has finally been matched for a life-saving transplant. This is a miraculous opportunity, but it comes with a heavy financial burden.
**Her Journey:**
Five years ago, Justice’s life took an unexpected turn when doctors informed us that the kidney she received in 2006 had rejected and she would need to start dialysis, get testing for a new kidney, and see if she could be placed on the donor list. Since then, every day has been a struggle, mentally and physically, filled with countless medical appointments, dialysis 3-4 times a week, treatments, and hospital stays. Despite the pain and uncertainty, she has remained hopeful, knowing that one day she would receive the call that a donor had been found.
**The Challenge Ahead:**
Now that the transplant is here, she is faced with new challenges. The surgery and recovery period will require her to take 6-8 weeks off work. During this time, she will need help covering everyday bills, medical expenses, and the cost of prescriptions. The financial strain is overwhelming for her and is constantly on her mind. We are hopeful to eliminate that worry so she can focus on her recovery. We humbly ask for your support to help through this critical period.
**How You Can Help:**
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Your donations will go directly towards:
- **Everyday Bills:** Rent, utilities, groceries, and other living expenses during her recovery period.
- **Medical Bills:** Surgery costs, hospital stays, and follow-up appointments.
- **Prescriptions:** Essential medications required before and after the transplant to ensure her body accepts the new organ and to manage pain and other symptoms.
Your generosity will not only help her cover these expenses but also allow her to focus on her recovery without the added stress of financial worries. We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing her story with others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support during this challenging time. Together, we can make this transplant a success and give her a chance at a healthier, brighter future.
With love and gratitude,
