On August 16th, our lives took an unexpected turn when a fire severely impacted our home. While we are incredibly grateful that the fire did not directly breach our unit, the resulting water damage has left our home uninhabitable. We are now facing a long road ahead, with the rebuilding process expected to take between 12 to 18 months, depending on the HOA's insurance determinations.

As many of you know, my wife and I are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our first child in November. What should be a time of joy and preparation has instead become one of uncertainty. Due to the limitations of our condo's insurance policy, we have been allotted $8,000 for temporary housing—an amount that will only cover a fraction of our expenses. We are now facing the daunting reality of managing our mortgage alongside additional living costs, all while trying to prepare for the arrival of our little one.

This is not an easy request to make, but we are reaching out for your support during this challenging time.
