Support Justin's Fight Against Leukemia

Dear Family and Friends,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a steadfast hope. Justin Robinson, a vibrant 30-year-old, beloved son, husband, friend, and colleague, was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This aggressive form of cancer requires immediate treatment and a long journey toward recovery. We are rallying together to support Justin in his courageous fight and to relieve some of the financial burden so he and his family can focus on what matters most: getting well.
Justin’s journey took a sudden turn following a work trip to San Diego. Upon his return, he developed a fever. After four days without improvement, Justin visited the Emergency Room, where bloodwork revealed concerning abnormalities. He was admitted immediately, and on Monday, October 28, Justin received the life-altering diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Since then, he and his family have been navigating this unexpected and difficult path with courage and resilience.
Justin and Megan are high school sweethearts who have been together for nearly 15 years. On Friday, November 1, they were married in a beautiful ceremony in Justin’s hospital room. They committed to face whatever lies ahead together, finding joy and hope in each other even during this challenging time.
AML is a challenging and life-altering diagnosis. Justin will initially be hospitalized for 4-6 weeks to receive his first round of induction chemotherapy. This intensive phase is critical to fighting the disease, and it’s only the beginning. The treatment plan will likely involve further hospital stays, additional chemotherapy, and possibly a bone marrow transplant. Justin’s doctors have advised that he may be out of work for up to a year. To support him through this battle, Megan will also need to take a leave of absence from her job as a teacher to care for him. The hospital is 30 miles from their home in Prior Lake, adding additional time and costs to each visit. With both of them out of work and facing these mounting medical, travel, and living expenses, the financial burden is overwhelming.
Justin and Megan’s journey ahead is daunting, but they are not fighting alone. We ask you to stand with us and support them in any way you can. By donating to this fund, you can help alleviate the financial strain on their household, allowing them to focus all their energy on Justin’s healing and recovery. No donation is too small—every bit makes a difference.
Your love, support, and generosity mean everything to Justin, Megan, and all of us who care about them. We will keep you updated on Justin’s progress throughout this journey, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by them in this fight. Let’s rally around Justin and Megan and show them that they’re not alone. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope during this difficult time.
