Support Justin - Donating A Kidney Ain't Easy! :D

Update in Justin's recovery:
Hey everyone! As some of you know, my friend Justin Weaver donated a kidney to his coworker Melinda back in March, risking his life and health to extend and improve hers. The full story is down below the dashed line. I'm happy to report that Melinda's recovery is going great. Justin's former kidney has increased her filtration function and other fancy words I didn't understand but sounded great! She's been recovering at home for several weeks now :D
Justin's recovery has also gone well, but unfortunately not as quickly as we had hoped. While he has returned home and is able to get around just fine, his numbers still haven't quite normalized and since returning to work last week, some of his pain has returned. With bills ever looming and previously raised funds depleted, taking off more work isn't ideal for him, so I've returned to ask for your help on his behalf :D I know with just a small amount more, we can help Justin cover a few more weeks off so that when he does return to full time work at the school, he can be healthy and comfortable.
I and many others are so proud of Justin for his selfless act. Let's be a little selfless ourselves to help him out in his time of need. If you can't donate today, that's totally understandable, but please please please share this on your facebook or twitter or anywhere you think others will see it. I don't have a large network to send to so I'm counting on anyone who sees this to get the message out! Thank you so much for your help :D

Hi! I'm Chris Kirkham and I started this fundraiser for my friend Justin Weaver. Justin is a custodian for Stillwater Public Schools, having worked at most of the elementary schools in town. 7 months ago, while at Westwood Elementary, he saw a flyer for a coworker in need, Melinda Schooley. Melinda is the cafeteria manager at Westwood and due to polycystic kidney disease, requires a kidney transplant. When Justin heard about her need, he stepped forward without hesitation and began the process of getting tested for transplant viability. He didn't know it would take quite so long and has probably been poked and prodded more than he'd like, but last week he finally got the great news. Justin has been fully approved by the board and is scheduled to donate his kidney to Melinda in March.
This fundraiser aims to assist Justin by easing the indirect expenses that come with donating. Your contributions will help reimburse for travel/meal/time off for testing days and cover for those things on the surgery day as well. Your support will also enable Justin to take as long as he needs during his recovery period away from work, so he can focus on healing without worrying about finances.
Even if you can't donate at this time, just sharing this page and/or posting it on any socials you can would be extremely helpful. The more people see it, the more likely some people can help out with a donation. And every little bit helps!
I will try to keep this page updated about the surgery and Justin's recovery. Thank you!
Justin and I both invite you to visit Melinda's page as well, which is for expenses not covered by her insurance:
