Support Justis Blanchard's Family After Hurricane
Donation protected
My name is Justis Blanchard. I live with my mother, Dawn, and our three animals. We live in a small corner of Hendersonville, North Carolina, called Laurel Park. Laurel Park was one of hundreds upon hundreds of towns and cities across western North Carolina that was affected by Hurricane Helene. Our apartment complex, our surroundings, multiple vehicles including my mother's, were completely flooded and destroyed on the ground and basement levels. Power lines and transformers are down all around us, main water lines are out, people are without running water, electricity, food, water, baby formula, gas, utilities, and resources. We are physically okay, the people in our immediate area are as well or have been evacuated due to unlivable conditions; however, we have limited resources ourselves and will be out of work until further notice (could be weeks if not months on end). Our building will soon be unlivable on the top floor as well due to the growing mold and mildew from the first two levels, so we will be vacating to another residence still without electricity or running water. We have helped those around us take shelter, we’ve helped supply people with what little we could give, and we’re kindly asking for some support in our hardships as we get through this tragedy that has affected so many. These donations will help us; rehouse, feed our animals and ourselves, replace my moms car, and continue from here on as normally as possible. Thank you!
