Support for Kailash Khola (Achham) Flood Victims

Dear Friends,
As we know that Rama Roshan Village of Achham district of Far-West Nepal was badly hit by floods on Tuesday night (Aug 18, 2020 / Bhadra 2, 2077). At least six people died and 17 people have gone missing. Kailash Khola swept away at least 22 houses, shops, other infrastructures as well as crops and rendered many people homeless (https://risingnepaldaily.com/main-news/floods-landslides-kill-10-in-achham-bajura-bajhang , https://kathmandupost.com/sudurpaschim-province/2020/08/19/six-dead-dozens-missing-in-floods-in-achham)
At this time of natural disaster, Far Western Nepalese Society, Texas (FWNST) takes the responsibility to come forward and lend helping hands to those who lost their family members, home and their livelihood.
Far Western Nepalese Society, Texas (FWNST) is being joined by other social organizations and kind-hearted Nepalese people from all over USA in an effort to raise funds to conduct relief activities to these flood affected people in Accham District. These funds will be handed over to local government or not for profit organizations engaged in rescue operations of flood victims.
