Support Kamora Freeland: Breaking Barriers!
Donation protected
Hello, everyone! My name is Kamora Freeland, and I'm a seventeen-year-old honor student who skipped 11th grade. I have a deep passion for aviation and a drive to make a positive impact in my community. I'm proud to say that I've already accomplished a significant milestone by becoming the youngest African American female pilot in New York State and one of the youngest in the country. Additionally, alongside my aviation pursuits, I'm a certified lifeguard and a birthing doula, dedicated to ensuring safety and providing care in various situations.
Despite reaching this incredible milestone, my journey as a pilot is far from over. There are still many more ratings and licenses to obtain, each requiring rigorous training and significant financial investment. The total cost of completing my flight training, including the necessary licenses and ratings, can exceed $100,000.
I have started this GoFundMe because I'm determined to continue pursuing my dreams of becoming a commercial airline pilot and making a positive impact in the aviation industry. With your support, I can access the resources needed to complete my training and fulfill my aspirations.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in my journey. Your generosity will not only help me achieve my goals but also inspire other young individuals, especially those from underrepresented communities, to pursue their passions and break barriers.
Thank you for considering supporting my journey.
Warm regards,
Kamora Freeland
