Support Kanan's Vet Bills

My name is Eric and my partner Kara and I are raising money for our dog Kanan's vet bills. Kanan is a 3 year old pitbull mix and is deaf and visually impaired due to him being a double merle. Double merle dogs are the result of improper and irresponsible breeding and they can often suffer from a lot of other health issues that are related to their bad genetics!

Despite the knowledge that raising and training a deaf/blind dog may be difficult we decided to emBARK on this adventure with him. Together we have learned to speak sign language, navigate the woods and he even attends craft faires with Kara. His favorite activity is to cuddle up on the couch after a nice long walk, sniffing everything the neighborhood has to offer. While we expected him to have hearing and visual disabilities, we could not have predicted an epilepsy diagnosis.

Kanan has recently been having uncontrollable seizures and after a 24 hour emergency vet stay, was officially diagnosed with epilepsy. He will likely need to be on medication for the rest of his life. This was very unexpected and traumatic for our family as we have always tried to provide the very best for Kanan, even home cooking his food! We are asking for donations to alleviate the financial burden of Kanan's emergency vet bills and his seizure medications. Anything will help and all donations will be going to making sure Kanan is happy and comfortable! Thank you!
