Support Kanika- An accident victim in Canada

URGENT!! An international student met with an accident in Canada and severely injured

A Young Physiotherapist, Kanika (my niece), with dreams of a better life, came to Canada one month back. Sadly, was hit by a fast moving car while crossing the road. As a result of this fatal accident, she had two clots in her brain leading to left sided paralysis, in addition to multiple fractures, chest and Liver injury. She is in Toronto hospital ICU, in severe pain, waiting for her parents to arrive from India. It is very unfortunate that they are still waiting to get visa to Canada and see their daughter.

Kanika is admitted in the CRCU unit and has undergone 2 major brain surgeries till now. As per doctors the entire treatment for her to recover shall take 0.2 Million CAD.

Coming from a small town in India and an average family income, she came to Canada to fulfill her dreams as well as her parent’s dreams. Although, fate brought her to this.
