Meet Kara...an Ovarian Cancer Warrior!

Diagnosed in September 2019 at the young age of 30 with Stage 3AII. Since then, she has been fighting for her life!

Kara was experiencing symptoms that at the time was unaware were of great significance. She went to the doctors as she was feeling full quickly, had urinary urgency, and a sharp pain in her lower right abdomen. The doctors decided it was a cyst in her right ovary that needed to be removed. This is when she found out the terrible news...it was CANCER!

She was diagnosed 9/13/19 and by November that same year had a complete hysterectomy. The week of Thanksgiving her diagnosis was upgraded to Stage 4. Kara is currently on her 5th round of chemo.

In February 2024 she was accepted into a clinical trial that failed miserably! She was never sicker and had to unfortunately quit the treatment.

Kara is at the point that her body can't handle chemotherapy nor is the cancer responding to it. She decided that she wanted to try the integrative medicine route but would need anywhere from $40,000 to $140,000 out of pocket to try this as medical insurance does not cover it. We CANNOT let money be the reason this beautiful soul loses her battle with cancer! She needs our help! Anything you can give will help Kara stay in this fight!
