Support Karen Brown’s Recovery After Home Invasion
Donation protected
My beloved Aunt Karen was attacked on Friday, December 13, in a home invasion robbery. He completely underestimated her and she fought back HARD. Thanks to the quick reaction of her neighbors and JSO, the man who did this to her was apprehended quickly and is facing many years of prison for home invasion robbery, elderly abuse and attempted murder.
Anyone who has ever met Karen will tell you that she is the kindest and most selfless person. She has the biggest heart and would help anyone in need. She has spent a good bit of her retirement years volunteering at her church’s food pantry and to be honest, she will likely be irritated that this fund was started for her but she is always thinking of others and wanting to go without for herself. Now is the time for others to help her.
She has a long road to recovery both physically and mentally and is currently in the ICU with a small brain bleed, broken hip and a broken arm. I am starting this fund to provide some assistance for her expenses over the next few months so she can focus on healing.
Thank you for any contribution you are able to make. If you aren’t in a position to donate, our family really appreciates prayers for her healing and wellbeing.
