Support Karen Dekker's Family After Fire Loss

We are Jaymie Luu and Carol Thompson, teachers from San Gabriel Unified School District, who started this fundraiser for our friend and colleague, Karen Dekker.

On the evening of January 7, 2025, Karen, her son, and her mom, evacuated from their home in Altadena as the Eaton fire spread. The next evening, she received the devastating news that her home had been lost.

Karen has been a dedicated teacher at San Gabriel Unified School District for more than 20 years, and she has welcomed family, church members, and coworkers to gather at her home.

All funds will allow Karen to address the many aspects of recovery and support her family through this difficult time. Any donation amount helps and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
