Support Karen Dix During Her Cancer Recovery

I first met Karen Dix at Clairview School where my daughter Olivia, who has autism, started in 2013. I started working there too. Karen soon became a best friend; her smile lit up my day. It takes a special person to work with people who have special needs.

Now, Karen needs special people to help support her with her recent diagnosis of breast cancer. She just found out the week before Christmas and will have surgery at the end of January. She will be out of work for at least two months.

I hope to support Karen with her medical bills, household bills, and other expenses while she’s recovering. Karen is a single mom who supports herself. She doesn’t have a husband, boyfriend, or parents who can help her in times of need. She really needs her friends, coworkers, and other family members to help support her in this difficult time.
