Support Karen Dunkley's Family After Tragic Fire
Donation protected
Friends & Family:
Early Friday morning, January 10th, a 5 alarm fire broke out on Wallace Avenue in the Bronx. 250 firefighters battled the blaze. Many of you know of know our beloved Karen Dunkley who has worked for our families in various capacities for over 25 years. Karen, her son and her parents lived in the affected building. They ran out of the building at 1:30am with the pajamas on their backs and their cell phones. Karen also helped a young family with children evacuate, in addition to her elderly parents.
All of you know Karen is an incredibly hard worker. Kind, loving, always happy and loyal. Her family lost everything they have worked so hard for.
We want to help Karen however we can. They need comfortable, temporary housing until they can pick up the pieces and find new apartments. They need clothes, incidentals, will need furniture and everything that goes along with rebuilding their lives and homes.
We are reaching out to our vast and very generous communities for help. Rather than collect donations of items, we thought it was best to provide them with the funds to buy what they need.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to either of us. We appreciate all of your love and support for the Dunkley family.
All our love,
