Support Karen Robbins' Lung Transplant Journey

Donation protected
My mom, Karen Robbins, has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. For the past year, she has been traveling to Houston a lot to see doctors and take all the tests necessary to prepare for a lung transplant. She has been on oxygen for almost a year. Her lung function is steadily decreasing, and she will need a double lung transplant soon. This will be very costly, and any help received will be greatly appreciated.
She will be in the hospital for 2-4 weeks after the transplant. Once she has the transplant and she is discharged from the hospital she will have to stay in Houston for a minimum of 90 days in case of an emergency. She will also have to have a caretaker with her 24/7 for those 90 days. This means that my parents will have to pay for a place to stay in Houston for about 4 months. All these time frames are just an estimate. She will have to be on antirejection medicine for the rest of her life which can be costly also.
Karen has a husband, two kids, and 4 grandchildren who all need her to get better! If you cannot help financially, we ask that you please keep her and our family in your prayers. We thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
