Support Karen Shanahan's Road to Recovery

Hi! This is my first ever Go Fund Me. I do not do this if not absolutely needed. Today I am asking anyone who has the means to help a long time friend of the family during some very difficult times.

Her name is Karen Shanahan. Karen has been battling many medical issues for years including MS (Multiple Sclerosis), severe back pain & skin cancer (just to name a few). Recently while walking in the parking lot into work at Jewel, she moved out of the way of an elderly man pushing a cart and tripped over the curb breaking her R arm and L knee. Kind of crazy how something like that can change your life in an instant.

She has been bed ridden in the hospital for weeks while trying to control her pain. She is now in a full time rehab home for 3 months and the doctor's have said she can not go back to work until August 1, 2024! Her disability will not cover all her living expenses and her savings has been depleted trying to cover current living expenses & medical bills as she can not work.

Karen has never asked for anything but now she is in trouble & needs financial help. She does not have anyone. She is a single woman & she really needs our help.
