Support Karen’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello everyone. My name is Christine and I’ve created this page to help raise funds to support my dear friend Karen, as she’s going through an incredibly difficult journey.
As many of you may already know, Karen is a mom to a handsome 11 year old boy named Sam who depends on his mom and her good health to take care of him. On February 24th, Karen was diagnosed with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer). Since then, bills have already begun to pile up and will only continue to do so with her extensive chemotherapy treatments, surgery, and radiation. Healthcare will cover many expenses, but there is still a significant amount of costs that are out of pocket and a high deductible to meet. Living expenses will also become difficult to manage.
Karen plans to work up until surgery, but as you may know there may be days she feels too ill to work due to her chemotherapy treatments she will receive before surgery. Standard living expenses such as monthly mortgage, groceries, and bills will pile up even while working with how expensive this will be. Any donation is very much appreciated and all funds will be going towards these costs for Karen and her son Sam. My goal is for Karen to take care of herself without any unnecessary stressors such as bills. I would like to give Karen enough support during this difficult time to help ease her mind with all of the financial struggles that she will be facing.
