Support Karlene’s mother towards recovery

Good day! My name is Jackqueline Ugaban. My current residence is in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I set up a gofundme account to support my dear friend Karlene Gregorio Hipos. Her mother, Marites Gregorio, is in critical need of financial assistance to cover her medical bills due to an unexpected event in the Philippines.

Marites Gregorio, a 57-year-old woman, currently lives in Sta. Rita, Olongapo City, Philippines. She was scheduled to travel to Canada on March 21, 2023. Sadly, she developed a stroke while waiting for her flight. According to the other passengers on the same flight, she no longer displayed any facial expressions. She was already unresponsive, unable to write, and unaware of the fact that she was bumping into other people as she walked.

She was taken to a clinic, and indicated that her blood pressure was high; as a result, she was transferred immediately to the hospital. Based on the findings of the medical facility, she had a blood clot on her brain.

As of this moment, the medical expenses are getting out of control, so we are reaching out for assistance in order to provide the best medical treatment possible for my friend's mother, who is still fighting for her life after having a stroke. She is a strong-willed and loving woman who will undoubtedly be grateful for any help that is given. Thank you.
