Support Kate Kimmer Recharging the Soul

Kate is a friend, a mother, a sister, a daughter, and protector of those most vulnerable in our communities. She has dedicated much of her life to ensuring that those who are often forgotten by society know their value. When someone needs to be told " you are important," Kate is there. When someone needs to be told " you are enough," Kate is there. When someone needs to be told "you are loved," Kate is there. Not only does she make you feel like the most important person in the room, but she fights tirelessly every day to create a world where violence and exploitation have no place in our families and communities.

Kate has experienced devastation over the weekend with the loss of her beloved Pomeranian, Kitsune. Kiki, as many have known her by, was the Protector of the Protector, soulmate, and the love each had for the other is still unconditional. It is no secret the love Kate has for Kiki is special, but what many may not know is that all of those things that Kate does for us and our communities is what Kiki did for her. Many who knew Kiki made sure to show her the same love that Kate shows each of us every day, and that love continues to be shown to Kate and her fur family.

Many have asked how to support Kate during this difficult time. She is surrounded by love and is so grateful folks want to step up and support her. Kate dedicates her time and energy to ensuring all around her are taken care of, loved, and supported and often does not get to take time for herself to recharge. We are asking that those interested in supporting Kate consider donating to this fund to provide Kate with the ability to take a break and take a small trip to heal. We all know Kate puts everyone before herself, so it would mean the world to allow her to take time for herself.
