Support Kate Middleton’s Family in Their Time of Sorrow

It is with the greatest sadness that I share that our beloved Kate Middleton died suddenly on the morning of June 24, 2024, in Milton. Our hearts go out to her husband, Pat; daughter, Sophie; and son, Joe; and her parents, Susan and John Dunton; and Kate’s brothers, David and Brian Dunton; Pat’s parents, Sheila and Jay Middleton; Pat’s sister, Maura Middleton and all of their families. Kate was beloved by all who knew her, always looking for ways to solve a problem, right a wrong, or make someone laugh if they were down. She loved her children so tenderly and was their complete advocate and cheerleader. She adored her soul mate, Pat, whom she loved entirely. She was truly the very best wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and touched thousands of lives.

Between her childhood in Milton, her teaching and writing career, the myriad of great volunteer work she did in Milton, including starting the famous Milton Porch Fest, trustee of Milton Foundation for Education, town meeting member and PTO member, school volunteer for all of her kids’ activities and so much more, Kate was making an impact. Kate was always ready with a smile on her face, a quick wit or sarcastic line…or a staple gun! She showed up for everyone when they needed her and often saved the day. Kate was a true hero to her family, friends, and community.

It is now our turn to be heroes for her and for her family. Please join me in contributing support for her family who are struggling and have a world of need and sorrow in front of them for the immediate future. Funds raised will go towards any supports Kate’s husband, Patrick Middleton and their two kids may need in the months ahead to get them through this extremely difficult time.
