Support for Katelynn Kajunski and Her Family

On Monday, June 5, 2023, Katelynn's life took an unexpected turn when she was involved in a tragic car accident. As she was on her way home from her job as a school teacher eager to be with her husband and two young children, her path intersected with a driver who ran a red light and struck her vehicle. Katelynn sustained a traumatic brain injury, and was rushed to Hershey Medical Center where she would endure countless brain surgeries and spent over three weeks in the ICU before moving to a long term acute critical care hospital where she continues to make small but encouraging signs of progress each day. Although her recovery is undeniably arduous, Katelynn's determination remains unyielding. 

Katelynn is the cherished wife of Ryan, and together they have two beautiful children. Katelynn, a truly remarkable person, embodies the extraordinary qualities of a devoted wife, nurturing mother, dedicated school teacher, and an exemplary daughter, sister, and friend.

The family has been received and continues to receive an outpouring of support and are constantly asked "What can I/we do to help?". While Katelynn continues to improve and Ryan works to maintain normalcy for their two children any financial assistance provided to support Katelynn's medical treatments, childcare, and essential living expenses would be immensely valued by her and her family.
