We are devastated to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved Katherine Vogts. Katherine was more than a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and friend; she was a hero in every sense of the word. She dedicated her life to helping others, and tragically, she passed away while doing what she loved most.

On that fateful day, Katherine's last words to her niece were, "There has been an accident, I have to go save people." True to her selfless nature, she rushed to get out of her car and saved one life while giving aid to another. Her bravery and compassion in her final moments are a testament to the incredible person she was.

Katherine had been a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for over 10 years, with the last six years devoted to hospice care. She provided comfort and support to countless families during their most challenging times. Her dedication, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many.

Katherine leaves behind a wide circle of friends and family who are struggling to cope with this profound loss. Most importantly, she leaves behind her cherished 10-year-old daughter, who now faces a future without her loving mother.
