Support Kat's Eco-Friendly Food Truck Venture

Hi! My name is Kat, owner of 'Wichcraft Food Co., and I am building a food truck to operate in Bremerton, WA. I have acquired a mini school bus and turning it into my dream mobile eatery. My goal is to convert it into a battery (and eventually solar) powered business. There aren't a lot of trucks operating like this, but there are a few of us who are trying to create and set a new example. Until fully electric powered food trucks from engine to stove are available, one of many steps in that direction is outfitting my truck with a Joule Case system. It will provide up to 8 hours of battery sourced, zero emissions-zero noise energy instead of the traditional gasoline generators that are standard on almost all food trucks. It is a significant one time investment which raises the average mobile eatery build cost of $75,000 upwards by an additional $25,000.
Having worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for nearly 30 years, it's hard to imagine doing anything else. I am so close to achieving the goal of having my own place. I'm taking the risk of a higher startup cost, but the payoff will be much more substantial than money. This is where I ask you for a little boost to help me reach that goal by contributing whatever you can. With your help, this venture won't just be a leaf stamp on a cup ♻️. It is my actionable approach to being environmentally responsible in a highly wasteful industry. I hope it will spark bold ideas and create sustainable and affordable solutions for other food businesses who want to reduce their carbon footprint.
If you're unable to donate, share this with a friend and/or on social media. Your support means the world to me and my family.
