Support Katy Kaufman: mom, wife, & AWS Colleague

Hi everyone! This is Katie White, Lauren Lundy, and Lynette Woolfolk, three current/former AWS employees based in Denver, Colorado. We created this fundraiser to support our dear friend and AWS colleague, Katy Kaufman and her family. On February 1, 2024, Katy's fight with cancer ended. Katy was a mentor, colleague, leader and friend to so many of us in the technology world. Katy was the sole provider for her family, and this has been a devastating blow to the Kaufman’s emotionally and financially. Katy’s husband, Mark, will be re-joining the work force after being a stay at home father to their two beautiful children, Norah (9th grade) and Samuel (6th grade), for the last 15 years. We are hoping to raise $200,000 in this fundraiser to ease medical bills, monthly costs, and provide for the kids' school and sports activities, as well as planning for college.
