Support Katya's Family After Tragic Fire
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Katya, and yesterday our family faced a heartbreaking tragedy. You may have heard about the fire that broke out on October 29 in Pleasant Hill. Our home was one of ten affected, with four apartments completely destroyed — ours among them.
Our family — my husband, our daughter Sasha (9), our son Orest (5), and our two guinea pigs — moved to the U.S. from Ukraine only eight months ago. The fire took everything we had, leaving us with nothing. Without insurance, we have no compensation to rely on, and at a time when we were just beginning to settle, we now find ourselves shocked and overwhelmed.
On the advice of friends, we have opened an account for donations to help us recover and rebuild. We’re facing the need to start over completely, and any assistance would mean the world to us.
Thank you to everyone who can offer a helping hand and bring us hope. Your kindness and support are truly invaluable in this challenging time.
With warmth and gratitude,
Katya
