Support Kavon’s family

Kavon Reid, born on September 25, 1984, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2024. A devoted father of three, Kavon worked with Bronx Rights Against Gun Violence, dedicating his efforts to making his community safer. On his lunch break, after visiting his grandparents' home, he was senselessly shot twice by an unknown assailant-once in the back, piercing his heart, and once in the leg. Kavon passed away at the scene. His untimely death leaves a profound void in the lives of his family and community.
