Support Kaylee's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hi everyone,

I want to share the story of my amazing friend Kaylee, a 33-year-old working mom of two little boys, ages 6 and 2. Kaylee has always been the kind of person who puts her kids and family first, but now she’s facing a challenge no one should have to face - breast cancer.

A few weeks ago, Kaylee felt a lump in her breast and went to have it checked out. The news was devastating: she has Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS), a form of breast cancer. While we’re grateful it doesn’t appear to have spread to her lymph nodes, part of the cancer may be invasive, so while it has been caught early, the future is full of unknowns. Right now, her treatment includes a bilateral mastectomy and hormone therapy for a minimum of 5 years.

This diagnosis has turned her world upside down pretty much overnight. In addition to the physical and emotional toll, there are countless medical appointments and unexpected financial pressures. As a selfless friend and mother, the weight of these costs—both emotional and financial—is overwhelming.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help Kaylee focus on what really matters - her health and her family. Donations will help cover medical bills, time off work, childcare, and other unexpected expenses during her treatment and recovery.
