KC Chakra, the University of Missouri-Kansas City's premier Bollywood-Fusion dance team, is entering its fifth competitive season, and we couldn’t be more excited to take the stage with our most ambitious performance yet. As a Bollywood fusion dance team, we blend South Asian culture with diverse dance styles, creating high-energy performances that push creative boundaries. What makes us truly unique is that the majority of the dancers on our team are also medical students, balancing a demanding academic workload with our deep passion for dance.

This year, our theme is Dracula, a bold and intense production that fuses storytelling with movement, bringing a fresh perspective to the Bollywood fusion stage. Competing at this level, however, comes with significant costs, including costumes, set design, travel, accommodations, and competition fees. As both undergraduate and medical students, we dedicate long hours to our studies and clinical work, leaving little room for financial flexibility when it comes to funding our performances.
