Support Keisha's Journey to Self-Confidence

Hi. My name is Keisha. Before you judge the cause, first let me say...you're right! This is not a life or death situation and yes, there are a million other important causes on this platform that are more deserving of your donation. However, I've decided to speak my truth 100% and pray that someone will find it in their heart to help me out.

In 2019, I gave birth to my firstborn, and in 2021 I gave birth to my second. Carrying these two awesome kids did a NUMBER on my body, specifically my abdominal area. Not uncommon, right? True. But what is noticeably different to me is how badly this change has affected my self-esteem. I have tried EVERYTHING. Diets, Zumba, gym memberships with a personal trainer attached, juicing, AND I even almost killed myself on a Peloton. (Disclaimer: the Peloton worked fine, the workout was what almost took me out).

Now in full transparency, I have lost weight. The problem is I have very stubborn belly fat and excess skin. So now I am walking around looking decently proportioned with the exception of my protruding belly. Random people keep congratulating me on my "pregnancy" and I'm not even pregnant. As you could imagine, it kills my spirit every time. I dedicate my entire life to my kids as most mothers do, and now I just want something to make me feel like ME again. If anyone could find it in their heart to help me pay for this tummy tuck, I would be eternally grateful. It costs $4600 but I am only seeking $2500 in assistance. I am not the first mother going through this and I'm sure I won't be the last, but I am a mother asking for help to make my dream come true. I appreciate any help I can get. If I exceed my goal, I promise to donate the extra money to another more serious cause than mine.
