My name is Tiffany, and I am reaching out to the community on behalf of my husband Brian and his family. Please take a minute to read about Keith Zarzycki, aka Red, who was a loving father and grandfather. Keith served in the Marines in the 1980s, all while building his family and welcoming into the world his two beautiful children. Keith was diagnosed with macular degeneration disease at the young age of 40. Even though he was losing his vision, Keith stayed in the best spirits, working hard every day doing anything he could to fill his days with joy. He continued to fight to have the most out of life that he could.
A few weeks ago, Keith was taken to the hospital for not feeling well. Upon being admitted to the hospital, Keith and his family discovered he was septic and soon was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that spread to his liver and lymph nodes. After Keith’s diagnosis, he continuously stayed in the best spirits. He made everyone smile while telling stories about his life. Just 5 short days after Keith was diagnosed with lung cancer, he lost his battle, leaving his two children, Brian and Amber, five grandchildren, as well as his brother Mike and three sisters, Sherry, Jonie, and Dawn. Keith was the kindest soul with the biggest heart who would give anyone anything they needed.
I am in hopes that we can now give back to Keith and raise enough money to cover his cremation and a celebration of life. Due to his family not expecting to have to do this so quickly, this has left them all in shambles and attempting to figure out what to do. Anything anyone can do to help is extremely appreciated.
