Support Keith's Journey with ALS - Help him stay on the ROAD

Donation protected
Hi everyone and thank you for clicking the link and stopping by our dad’s GoFundMe page!

On June 28, 2024, our Dad, Keith Albrizzi, was diagnosed with ALS. Throughout July each of us had to hear this earth-shattering information during a phone call with him.

To anyone who doesn’t know, ALS is a devastating, progressive, and fatal neurological disease. As we have seen in our dad, it has quickly taken away his ability to walk, and control his limbs, and the disease will eventually take over his lungs making him unable to speak and then breathe. Life expectancy after diagnosis is just 3-5 years.

We assumed we had many more years to make memories with him. To laugh and tell stories with him. To have him at our weddings and be there when our children were born, but sometimes the cards don’t work out in our favor, and all we can do now is try and make some of his last wishes come true.

So, we have made this page for our father because our family needs HELP PURCHASING AN ACCESSIBLE CONVERSION VEHICLE (we can’t lose both of them so a vehicle that’s not too big for our mom to drive, haha) that is accessible for him so that he can travel with our mom, Claudine and their gamble of Pugs, enabling him the ability to spend time with all four of us, all the people that are important to him, and the possibility to see all the places he wants to before he is unable to. He is such a strong and proud man (and will most likely be upset that we are doing this) but we must do what we can to provide for him just like he has for everyone else.

Here is a little about our dad:
Keith is a Tour Manager in the music industry and has spent his entire lifetime caring for others. To know our dad is to love our dad. He is the funniest most charismatic man in the room. He would give the shirt on his back to anyone who needed it and always gave the best advice. He has been such an amazing father to us, husband to our mom, son to our grandparents, brother to our uncles, and friend to all who have met him.

Like most people in the Music Entertainment Business, Keith is an independent contractor without disability insurance. He will soon be unable to walk and will need a wheelchair to get around, and he will no longer be able to work as a Tour Manager on the road since getting in and out of a tour bus and being on his feet all day will be impossible. Sometime after that, he will be unable to work and will need full-time care.

We wanted to give a big shout-out to AJR and the whole Crew and team have been so supportive and understanding during this incredibly painful time. Thank you all for all the smiles, laughs, and joy you have brought our dad over the years. We appreciate you all more than you know!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! - Nate, Jocelyn, Tucker, Pat (Keith’s Children)

P.S. Another shout-out to the special people who have already stepped up to help him in other ways, thank you so, so, so much!

P.P.S. Join us with the ice bucket challenge and tag @Kalbrizzi on Instagram. One day we will find a cure and beat this heartbreaking disease!
