Support Kelli's Final Push to Graduation

Hi friends! If you're new here, I'm Kelli, a 43 (yikes) year old single mom of three kids who is just DAYS away from graduating nursing school. I have been working full-time throughout nursing school and my last term of school is completely out of pocket as I have no financial aid left because of stupid choices when I was a youngin'. And although I've worked extremely hard this time around to redeem myself and get my degree and maintained a 3.92 GPA, it doesn't change the fact that when you're out, you're out. No exceptions.

I've been making payments towards my $4300 balance during my 10 week term, but with only two weeks left, I'm still facing a $1915 balance. I've been paying anything extra I have, but with taking care of three kids all on my own, it's been a struggle. During nursing school I've had my oldest daughter graduate high school and those expenses, start college and those expenses, another child in high school and one start elementary school. I'm faced with legal expenses due to a divorce and just plain every day expenses of living and raising three kids and yourself on your own.

I struggled with the decision of crowdfunding because I hate asking for help. But with just under two weeks left of school, I'm not sure I'll get the balance paid in time on my own. If I don't, my transcripts won't be released to the Iowa Board of Nursing which means I can't take my NCLEX (board exams) to get my license and won't be able to walk at the graduation ceremony in October.

I'm going to continue to put everything extra I have towards my balance, but if you or your family and friends could find it in your heart and budget to help, I would forever be grateful.
