Support Kelly in Her Time of Great Loss

Here at McAlister's Deli, we have a very valuable employee who has been with our company and worked at all of our local locations (Crestview, Niceville, and FWB) named Kelly Fitzgerald.

On Saturday, 09/21/2024, after visiting the ER with her son for what Kelly thought to be a virus, it turned out to be a virus with pneumonia which quickly led to complications with congestive heart failure. Unfortunately, her 21-year-old son, LaMarcus Jamial Purnell, Jr., passed away due to the complications. We are all heartbroken for Kelly, her children, and family. She has been shaken to her core by the loss of her son.

She already struggled financially and daily was worried about how she would continue to provide for her and her three disabled adult children alone. She is the most kind, loving, and helpful soul! I would like to reach out to the community and see if there is anything we can possibly do to make this process easier for her, especially the financial part. As of right now, no arrangements have been made due to finances.
