Support Kelly Lonehill's Final Journey

On October 11, our family tragically and suddenly lost our brother, son, cousin, uncle and nephew, Kelly Lonehill. Those who knew Kelly best, knew him to be a kind soul, a protector of those he loved and a talented musician, chef and artist with many years left to live at the young age of 28. He loved his two dogs, Lucy and Sam and his niece and nephews more than anything and wanted to help make a better world for them and see our family eventually come together to heal from the generations of trauma we have experienced. The impact of Kelly's sudden death has only made it worse as we mourn the loss of his young life too soon and all the plans we had together to create a better future for our family.

We are humbly asking for any help that can be contributed to assist in the costs needed to make proper arrangements for Kelly to come back home to South Dakota, where he is a member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe and for him to be buried where we believe he would want his final resting place to be. While we have some assistance with this, it will not be enough to cover all the costs and to make sure all of his closest loved ones can be present since almost all of us live out of state.

We appreciate anything at all that you can give to help us during this painful process and ensure Kelly does not have to make his final journey alone.
