Support Kelvin Clarke's New Hearing Aid

My name is Kelvin Dwain Clarke. I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request and a hope for your support. i was born and developed sensory hearing loss, I have faced challenges throughout my life in navigating a world that often relies on sound. My journey has been especially difficult because my mom passed away when I was young, leaving me to navigate life on my own.

At school age, I discovered the power of hearing aids, which opened up new possibilities for communication and learning. Over the years, I have had to change my hearing aids multiple times to keep up with my needs.Despite these challenges, I was determined not to let my disability define me. I worked hard to create a functional life, graduated from university, and am able to maintain a job. However, for the past few years, I have depended on my current pair of hearing aids to maintain communication and independence. Unfortunately, these devices are now failing me nearly 90% of the time, making conversations, work, and simple day-to-day activities increasingly difficult. With my current device, I have to rely heavily on reading lips, which can be exhausting and limiting. It is also impacting my sense of independence and overall quality of life.

After consulting with a specialist in the United States, I have learned that a new, reliable pair of hearing aids would greatly aid my hearing. I recently tested the new device and was amazed that I could hear the technician even with her back turned to me. The new device will allow me to hear sounds and engage more fully with the world around me. However, the cost for these vital devices is prohibitive —$9,000 USD—and I do not have insurance to help cover this expense. This is why I am reaching out for your generous assistance.
