Support Ken O'Day's Long Road to Recovery

Tax deductible
A good friend to many in our cycling community, Ken O'Day, was hit by a reckless driver on 7/4/24 and sustained many serious life-threatening injuries. He will have a long and difficult road to recovery and will face significant medical bills. Let’s rally behind a great man by supporting him and his family as best as we can! Funds are being raised by the Dialed Cycling Team (a registered 501(c)(3)) with 100% of the proceeds going to helping Ken and his family.

Additionally, everyone can help by continuing to advocate for cyclists by encouraging motorists to drive safely and helping them make the connection that cyclists are not inanimate objects riding on the side of the road. These are good people with families, spouses, children, and/or friends just like them. What happened to Ken was absolutely senseless and careless, and the sentiment and lack of remorse held by the motorist was absurd. Yes, we have all heard that riding a bike on the road is dangerous, which is an inherent risk we take to do something we love with all our hearts, but it really comes down to educating motorists to the laws and strongly encouraging them to follow them while behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. Please use Ken's story to help make this connection to as many people as you can... You never know who you might influence to make a better decision that subsequently helps another cyclist someday.
