Support Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens for My Birthday

Hey friends! My birthday is just one week away (Tuesday, April 8), and this year, I’m doing something a little different. Instead of gifts, dinner, or a party, I’m asking those closest to me in the DMV area to help support a cause that’s incredibly dear to my heart—the Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens (FoKAG), where I also serve on the board.

FoKAG is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to connecting both locals and visitors to the stunning Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, a hidden gem in NE Washington, DC. We work alongside the National Park Service to provide vital stewardship, educational programs, and community engagement.

This year, however, the gardens have faced challenges due to federal staff layoffs and work stoppages related to DEI efforts. If you’re able, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could donate $37 (the cost of each of my birthday years!) to help fund essential staff and support our critical programming.
